Amare Gives Back This Holiday Season

Amare Medical Network's teams are passionate about caring and we do this in many ways, including giving back to the communities in which we live. During the 2021 holiday season, our teams gave back by donating funds, toys, and gifts to local charities that embody our mission and core values.

Harmony Home Care and client Mailey Lopes presented a $1,000 check to Pennsylvania State Trooper Stephen Limani for Shop with a Cop. Click here to read the article in the Latrobe Bulletin.

Shop with a cop is a Non-Profit Organization that helps children during the holidays who were victims to crime or unfortunate circumstances through out the year. The Westmoreland County branch is in its 11th year of existence. To date, the program has raised $500,000. With that money over 1,000 children have had the opportunity to go shopping with a police officer from their area. These children are taken shopping every year right before Christmas.

Additionally, our teams collected toys, gift cards, and more for the Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh and Morgantown is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children. This is why they provide the opportunity for families to be by their child’s bedside as they face life-saving medical situations.
